Our pricing structure is designed to be transparent and fair, reflecting the expertise and quality of our services. All prices are subject to change and may vary based on location, complexity, and availability of parts. Quotes are provided after an initial diagnostic assessment.
1. Diagnostic Fee Policy
- Standard diagnostic visit fee includes travel, full inspection, and a written estimate.
- The diagnostic fee applies to each individual appliance; each unit is billed separately.
- If a repair is approved, the diagnostic fee becomes part of the total labor charge rather than a separate deduction.
- The diagnostic fee is non-refundable, including when the appliance is not repairable, the customer declines the repair, or parts are unavailable.
- For custom installations, built-in setups, limited access, or non-standard configurations discovered on site, the technician may adjust the diagnostic fee with customer approval before proceeding.
2. Labor Pricing Structure
- Minimum labor charge: $185.
- Labor is charged on a flat-rate basis according to job complexity.
- Higher labor pricing may apply to built-in units, wall ovens, stacked laundry, commercial appliances, sealed system refrigeration repairs, and luxury brands such as Sub-Zero, Viking, Thermador, Miele, and Fisher & Paykel.
3. Parts and Materials
- Parts are priced at cost plus markup to cover handling and warranty.
- Parts must be paid in advance.
- Parts warranty is provided by the manufacturer, while labor warranty is provided by Hermes Services LLC.
- Customer-supplied parts void the labor warranty and may also trigger an additional labor surcharge.
4. Warranty-Related Pricing
- Paid repairs are covered by a 90-day labor warranty.
- Warranty coverage does not include new or unrelated issues.
- Warranty appointments do not include a diagnostic fee if the issue is the same as the original repair.
- If the issue is new or unrelated, the standard diagnostic fee applies.
5. Discounts and Promotions
- Discounts may be available for seniors, military personnel, or new customers, for example $20 off labor.
- Discounts never apply to the diagnostic fee.
- Discounts apply to labor only unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Discounts cannot be combined.
6. Price Changes & Accuracy
- Prices may change due to supplier or market conditions.
- Remote quotes are estimates; final pricing is based on the in-person diagnostic.
7. Authorized Payer Policy
If the responsible payer, such as a landlord or property owner, is not present at the service address, payment must be made in advance. This applies when only tenants, guests, other unauthorized individuals, or no one at all is present on site. Both the diagnostic fee and any approved repair cost must be prepaid before work begins.
8. Final Price Agreement Policy
Once an estimate is approved by signature, text message, or written confirmation, the price becomes final and cannot be renegotiated, disputed, or adjusted based on expectations, comparisons, or a change of mind. The approved estimate includes the full agreed cost of labor and parts.
